This piece was first inspired by listening to a podcast where the host said something along the lines of ‘well, why not me?” why can’t I be a successful and thriving artist? Podcast host? Healer? Coach? (whatever your passion is) and from that, this piece was born.
It really got me deeply thinking about all the reasons I was creatively holding myself back, by thinking “well that artist is more talented than me” or “it seems easier for that person to just go for it”
This piece signifies the moment I stopped engaging in those unhelpful thoughts and instead focused on ‘well, why not me?’. I have seen so many amazing artists who create beautiful artworks that people want in their lives, so many artist who have been able to create full-time and leave their jobs. So… why not me?
Let this piece serve as a reminder that you can achieve your wildest dreams and ambitions; you can quite literally achieve anything you want too in this lifetime if you believe in yourself and put in the work necessary.
